153 Grand microscope achromatique
Vers 1835, Le pied ressemble à celui de martin (microscope de poche 1742) de forme tambour avec du plomb coulé dans le socle. Le tambour a une échancrure carrée vers l’avant. Le dessus de la platine est recouvert d’un verre noir mat et tourne autour de son axe. Le miroir est d’un côté plan et de l’autre concave et ne peut tourner qu’autour de son axe vertical et non latéral. Pour le diaphragme, il y a sous la platine un cylindre avec un trou qui peut été monté ou descendu avec l’aide d’un levier latéral. Sur le côté, fixé à la platine se trouve une vis micrométrique. Pour le réglage grossier, il faut faire coulisser le tube à tirage. Une lentille achromatique, un oculaire, diaphragme variable, scalpel, presselles, cuve pour la circulation du sang, et de la sève,
